Homes & courtyards
A defined waterline works well with a garden, a courtyard or a private villa. The deck and entry steps can be planned around how you use the space.
01 / THE CLASSIC POOL EDGE
A defined edge. A quieter waterline.
A pool that feels at home in your space.

THE DETAIL THAT MAKES THE DIFFERENCE
A skimmer pool keeps the water below the surrounding coping. Discreet openings in the pool wall collect surface water and debris, leaving a clear border between the pool and the deck.
Behind that simple appearance is a planned circulation system. Skimmer locations, return inlets, filtration and equipment access are designed around your pool’s dimensions and use.
Surface water enters the skimmer.
The pump moves water through the filter.
Inlets return filtered water to the pool.
Simplified circulation guide. Layout and equipment are designed for your site.
DESIGNED AROUND YOUR SITE
Choose the edge for the way you want to live.
Plan the system for the space you have.

A conventional skimmer system does not use a perimeter overflow channel or a separate overflow balance tank. Space for accessible filtration equipment is still essential.
Site access, drainage, equipment location and the operating water level all matter. Higher-use and elevated pools need a site-specific design review.

BEFORE YOU DECIDE
The things worth knowing before planning a skimmer pool.
A skimmer pool collects surface water through openings in the pool wall. The water usually sits below the coping. A pump draws water through the circulation system, a filter removes particles, and return inlets send the filtered water back into the pool.
A skimmer pool collects surface water at selected wall openings. An overflow pool collects water over an edge into a channel and typically uses a balance tank. Both need a properly designed circulation and treatment system; the main differences are the waterline, collection method and space needed for equipment.
The listed construction package covers JCB excavation, soil removal and dumping, ground dressing, RCC structure, brickwork, pool tiles, filtration plant and pipelines. Measurements, specifications, taxes and any additional site work are confirmed in a written quote before construction.
It can be considered for compact sites, but the pool is only part of the space requirement. Access for construction, a usable deck, drainage and an accessible equipment area also need to fit. Share your dimensions and site photos so the layout can be reviewed.
A conventional skimmer system generally does not need the separate balance tank used by an overflow system. It still needs a correctly sized pump, filtration, pipework and a plan for maintaining the operating water level.
Skimmer baskets need regular inspection and cleaning. Water chemistry, the filter and the pool surfaces also need routine care. The operating water level must suit the installed skimmer. We discuss equipment access and the maintenance routine when planning the system.
A rooftop pool must first be assessed for structural capacity and waterproofing requirements by the appropriate professionals. A skimmer edge does not remove the weight of the water or the structural requirements. Any additional work is reviewed separately for your building.
The schedule depends on the pool size, site access, ground conditions, structural work, curing and finishing. A project timeline can be discussed after the site and scope are reviewed; there is no single completion time that fits every pool.
