A continuous waterline
A flush edge can suit a villa courtyard, hotel or shared leisure space. Choose the pool for its use as well as its appearance.
02 / WATER RIGHT TO THE EDGE
Water meets the deck. The edge disappears into a clean, continuous line.

BEYOND THE BEAUTIFUL EDGE
An overflow pool brings the water up to the designed rim. Surface water spills into a collection channel, creating a level waterline around the pool instead of the visible border of a skimmer design.
The collected water moves to surge storage, typically a balance tank, before filtration and return to the pool. Channel levels, storage capacity and equipment access are planned together for the pool’s size and expected use.
Perimeter overflow channel
A continuous circulation cycle.
Surface water passes over the level edge into the overflow channel.
Surge storage accommodates displaced water; the pump and filter circulate it.
Filtered water returns through planned inlets to continue the cycle.
Simplified circulation guide. Collection, storage and equipment are designed for your site.
DESIGNED AROUND YOUR SITE

Allow for the perimeter channel, balance storage, pipe routes and service access. These should be included in the layout from the beginning.
The overflow rim needs careful level control for even collection. Deck drainage, grating and maintenance access are also part of the design.

BEFORE YOU DECIDE
The things worth knowing before planning overflow pools.
It is a pool where water flows over a designed rim into a collection channel. The water is collected, filtered and returned, keeping the operating waterline at the overflow edge.
Both use water flowing over an edge. A perimeter overflow pool usually creates a flush waterline beside the deck. An infinity pool uses a selected vanishing edge and a lower catch basin to visually connect the water to a view.
A conventional overflow design typically uses a separate balance tank to accommodate displaced water. Some systems provide surge capacity within their channel arrangement. The storage solution and capacity must be designed for the particular pool.
Yes, an overflow pool can be considered for a home as well as a hotel or shared space. The layout needs enough room for the collection channel, water storage and accessible filtration equipment.
The listed package includes JCB excavation, soil removal, ground dressing, RCC structure, brickwork, pool tiles, filtration plant and pipelines. Measurements, equipment specifications, overflow arrangements, taxes and additional site work are confirmed in the written quote.
Alongside water treatment and filter care, the overflow channel, grating and balance storage need accessible inspection and cleaning. Water-level controls and circulation equipment also need routine checks appropriate to the installed system.
A conversion needs a site assessment. The existing structure, edge levels, pipework and available space for collection and storage affect what is possible. It is not simply a change to the coping tiles.
